Six puppies turned up for our latest party, and what a well-matched group it was. Evie the Viszla, Ava the Bichon, Ripley & Journey the Shar Peis, Darwin the Golden Retriever, and Stella were playing non-stop for the entire hour. Ava wasn't quite sure at first what her parents had signed her up for: Being both the smallest AND the last to arrive, she had a big group of bigger dogs waiting to greet her when she arrived, and she wasn't sure she liked that at all... After a few minutes though, she was energetically zipping around the room, darting underneath our chairs and daring everyone else to catch her if they could! Evie and Stella were pretty evenly matched, being roughly the same size & age, and had a great time rough-and-tumbling with Darwin. Ripley joined in with that group after a short hestitation. Journey spent a lot of time cuddling with the people, and watching the other pups playing before deciding to play under the chairs with Ava.. I'm not sure what she was saying to her, but it was certainly entertaining to listen to! We were happy to have such a great play group for our first puppy party of 2010!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take any photos of the most recent party, so if anyone has some they would like to share, please e-mail them to me, and I will place them in the albums. Puppy parties will be set at fairly regular intervals, until attendance starts to fall back a bit. Our lobby is only big enough to hold 10 puppies comfortably, so we're going to try to keep to a sign-up list to prevent over-crowding.

We can't wait to see everyone on Saturday, February 27, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Please call ahead and reserve your spot!
